1st gig with Mike
The band enjoyed playing at the open air gig at Westcott
So out came the "batwings, old man, flower, magog and half-man half-woman mask for the fountain of Salmacis. Some great pictures (from Anton our photographer) and a great job done by Liam (with help from Kate too) on the desk. Somehow we got it together despite the traffic on a Friday night. The rain did hold off. We also tried back projection for the first time for the slides which worked well.

Up and coming gigs
The band is looking forward to our gig dates with our new singer Mike Morton
Mike has organised costumes to be made including the famous "Magog mask", "Flower", "Crown of thorns" (for Suppers Ready), the "batwings" (for Watcher of the skies), "Old man mask" (for the Musical box) and some other interesting other bits and bobs (look out for the fountain of salmacis!). This should greatly enhance our show for the Gabriel era material.
In addition, we have developed a set of very nice slides, some still and some animated to accompany all of our songs. Again this fits well with both the Collins era and the Gabriel era material.
Finally, we have added even more songs from the Genesis back catalogue to cover the Genesis albums on our mission to please all fans. We tailor our performances according to the audience but we always play a good selection of "the classics". |

New Singer
The river of constant change...
Nic Wells, our singer for the last 3 years, has left the band to concentrate on his studies. We'd like to thank Nic, and wish him every success.
Following a series of auditions, we have chosen Mike Morton as our new singer. He did a tremendous job in his audition and wowed us with his expressive theatrics as well as his vocals and knowledge of Genesis. Mike provides an exciting prospect for our future gigs.
We'd like to sincerely thank all of the auditionees. We appreciate how tough it can be to go through a band audition; especially for a band that's as difficult as Genesis! Many of the other singers also did a fine job, and the choice was very difficult in the end. We hope you will all stay in touch with us. |

The Tropic at Ruislip
A major success
We'd like to thank the 150+ people who came along to support us at the Tropic at Ruislip.
Our new lights and slideshow went down very well with the audience, and the special effects and lasers also added to the great atmosphere. A big thanks to Phil (and management) at the venue for making this a thoroughly enjoyable evening for us (and hopefully for the audience too). We'd also like to thank Ryan Watson and Anton Dluzewski for some great photography (see our media page). And many thanks to Jamie for the great sound.
During this gig, we mainly showcased old favourites from the Gabriel era, but we added in a sprinkling of more recent songs too (such as Duke's Travels/End), for a change of pace. And to those of you who requested 'Carpet Crawlers', we'll include it in our next set, just for you. Promise! |

Hedge End Social Club
Under our own steam
This was our first gig where the gear and sound & lights were down to us. Gareth, with help from Jamie, did a great job on the sound.
.
The gig lasted about 3 hours, with a short interval, and went down very well with the audience. New songs at this gig included: 'No Son of Mine', 'Land of Confusion' and 'Carpet Crawlers'.
The focus for our upcoming gig at The Tropic, Ruislip will be the stage show: lights and costumes and dances... sorry Nick, time to get that leotard out! |

any thanks to everyone who came out to support us during our headline gig at the Swanage Regatta. Check out the Media section for some video clips of 11th Earl of Mar and the end of Supper's Ready. Once again, thanks to Bill for an excellent light show, and to Dave for a great mix on and off stage.
